NYTimes' The Collection for ipad


 A few weeks ago, The New York Times released a new ipad app: The Collection.  It is a cumulation of fashion & style coverage from The New York Times , T Magazine and their Global edition: The International Herald TribuneThe application is currently free to download.  Users can access everything from news articles and videos to street style pictures and runway collection images.  According to the itunes page description, fashionistas can enjoy all the application has to offer until March 14, 2012. After that, full access will be limited to subscribers with only parts of the app free to all others.  Interested in seeing more? A slideshow of screenshots can be found here.

The Valentino Garavani Museum



Fashion and technology merge once again creating a downloadable VIRTUAL musuem of Valentino Garavani's lifetime work. The 'museum' will house over 5,000 images from the house's archives and 95 videos. As an added touch, the application will allow each user to personally customize their route through the galleries. Available TODAY!
