'Case of Base' retro boomboxes crafted from vintage suitcases
Today I came across these WICKED cool Case of Base hand-made portable sound systems. They're upcycled from old vintage suitcases. Each one is custom designed in Portland, Oregon by brothers Ezra and Alex Cimino-Hurt.
My personal favorite pictured above is the MuuRay model. Powder blue case inset
with a sweet 12-inch woofer and LED backlighting. Yeah Boiiiii!!
I seriously need one of these for my shop.

Swingin' Salute: A 1940s Street Party welcoming the USS Iowa
Celebrate the arrival of the USS Iowa to the Port of Los Angeles vintage style! On July 6th from 6 to 9pm, the streets of downtown San Pedro turn into a 1940s music and dancing extravaganza. “The Swing of Things” & “Time Machine” will be playing all of your big band favorites. Dance lessons provided and period dressing is highly encouraged. This FREE Swingin Salute community event is sponsored by the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce.

Coach "Heritage Collection" vintage baseball glove wallet
Just in time for Fathers Day, Coach launches their "Heritage Collection" which gives tribute to America's pastime: Baseball. We were first tipped off about these back in October on the Esquire Style Blog. My favorite item in the lineup? Limited Edition patchwork leather wallets made from vintage gloves. The company scoured Ebay for over a year buying 70+ year old gloves to use as material for the Each is stamped for authenticity and will set you back $348. In Stores Now: "Le Love" Art deco inspired razor by The Glamourai
Hard to believe it was almost a year ago when NY fashion blogger Kelly Framel first announced to readers via her blog, The Glamourai, that she would be collaborating with Shick for their 2012 imited Edition Intuition razor. 12 designs were submitted by Kelly, 3 were selected by Shick and Facebook fans voted for the final one. Well, we're happy to announce that the wait is over!
The "Le Love" razor is finally here! We absolutely love the Art Deco inspired design!
