While the rest of us had to wait till today to begin enjoying a 3 day holiday weekend, 515 lucky blokes got to have theirs a week early. In an unprecedented act of corporate community,
Hermès closed every single one of their U.S. stores and foot the bill for their employees to gather for the first of what hopes to be a tri-annual family reunion celebration.
The event took place at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton, NJ. Festivites included a lavish recognition dinner (no catered BBQ *grin*), games (Family Fued - Hermès style) and art projects (DIY silk scarf decorating). After viewing displayed scarves, CEO and president of Hermès USA, Robert Chavez, commented that he wouldnt be suprised if some of the pieces ended up in production. Cant wait! (WWD)
